Terms of Sale
Version 2026-08-07. These terms apply to orders placed on or after this date. The credit expiry rule in section 3 also applies to credits bought earlier, because it gives every existing client more time rather than less.
The short version
Buying a package is a commitment to the whole package. If you pay monthly, every instalment is due and the plan cannot be cancelled part way through. Credits unlock one a month and all of them stay live until twenty four months after the last one unlocks. If we cannot get a testimonial to a standard you are proud to publish, you get your money back for it.
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms govern the sale of testimonial production services by Channel Steel Limited, trading as MSP Testimonials, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Channel Steel Limited, and "you" means the business placing the order.
Our services are sold business to business. By placing an order you confirm you are buying for the purposes of a business and are authorised to commit that business to this agreement.
2. Binding commitment
By completing checkout you enter a binding agreement to buy the testimonial credits in your chosen package at the price shown at the time of purchase.
Where you choose a payment plan, you are committing to the full package price. The monthly payments are instalments of a single committed purchase, not a rolling subscription. All instalments are mandatory and the plan cannot be cancelled part way through.
A payment plan carries no interest and no charges. The total you pay across all instalments is the total shown at checkout.
3. Credits and how long they last
One credit unlocks each month from the date of purchase. Every credit in a package shares a single expiry date, falling twenty four months after the last credit in that package unlocks. A six credit package unlocks over six months and every one of its credits therefore remains valid until month thirty; a twelve credit package until month thirty six.
This applies to all credits held with us, including those bought under earlier versions of these terms.
Unused credits are non-refundable. Credits are not transferable to another organisation without our written agreement.
4. Production and timescales
Our fourteen working day delivery window runs from the filming date, not from the date of purchase. Booking a filming date depends on you nominating a participant and that participant being available.
We rely on you to nominate participants, provide context and give feedback at the review stage. Where those are delayed, delivery timescales move accordingly.
5. Refunds and the Proud to Publish guarantee
One off purchases are non-refundable once production begins, subject to the guarantee below.
Proud to Publish guarantee: if we cannot produce a testimonial to a standard you are proud to publish, you get a full refund for that testimonial.
The guarantee covers the quality of our work. It does not apply to credits left unused, to a change of mind after delivery, or to a participant withdrawing after filming.
6. Non-payment
If an instalment fails we will retry the payment and contact you to resolve it.
If an instalment remains unpaid after our retries, we may suspend work on any outstanding testimonials, and withhold delivery of completed assets, until the account is settled. Suspension does not reduce or cancel what is owed, and does not extend the validity of your credits.
Assets already delivered and paid for remain yours to use.
7. Your material and consent
You are responsible for ensuring that the participants you nominate are willing to take part and are authorised to speak about their experience.
Participants approve their own testimonial before it is published. Where a participant withholds approval we will work with you to find an alternative, but the credit is treated as used once filming has taken place.
8. Use of the finished work
On payment, you receive a perpetual licence to use the delivered assets in your own marketing.
We may reference the work in our own portfolio and marketing unless you tell us in writing that you would rather we did not.
9. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your order are the terms published at the time you place it. We record the version with your order. Changes we publish later do not alter an order you have already placed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
